Jenny Holdsworth is an award winning jeweller who graduated from the Sir John Cass School of Art with a degree in Silversmithing, Jewellery and Allied Crafts.
Her pieces combine clean lines, bold forms and delicate arrangements influenced by years in graphic design working in 2D and 3D projects developed to suit international clients and cultures.
Soon after graduating, Jenny worked with Gordon Hamme to launch The J-Dex (Jewellery Index) Magazine, now Goldsmiths Magazine. Working in London’s Hatton Garden and the Jewellery Quarter in Birmingham gave Jenny a valuable insight in the jewellery trade and her role took her to prestigious companies launching marketing campaigns nationally.
The design work led her to new industries – and the next period was working for one of Europe’s highest regarded designer/makers of educational exhibits for museums and science centres. Jenny worked on international projects as far reaching as Kuwait, the Norwegian Artic and Malaysia.
Today, her passion for making has brought her back to the jewellery bench, applying the traditional silversmithing methods from her training with contemporary designs from her previous experiences.
